She’s Home (unfinished)

It’s time to celebrate!
It’s time to rejoice!
Our sister is coming home
It’s time to dance!

As she drew her final breath,
She heard the songs,
She heard the sounds.
The people were rejoicing.

Their sister is home. She’s standing there.

The light was so brilliant
As she opened her eyes.
The light was so power.
The light was so warm.

Then she saw Him….

This is a very short poem written in less than 10 minutes. I may write more when the time allows it.

After all these years, I’m still writing about death. There’s something fascinating about death to me. The only difference, between the 10 years since writing poems, is that It’s not a morbid fascination anymore.
