The Rain is Coming.

Drip, drop,
The rain is coming,
Everyone runs for cover,
The rain is coming,
Only one person wanders.

No dark storm here,
It’s just the some rain clouds
No dark storm here,
The day is still light

Pitter, patter,
The rain is here,
As he smiles in excitement.
The rain is here,
He quickens his pace.

Outside he goes,
Into the open field.
Outside he goes,
Where there are no barriers.

People see him and snicker,
“What a foolish old man,
Who wants to get to wet?
What a foolish old man,
He’s going to ruin his clothes.”

Dance, Dance,
He lost all inhibition,
As joy fills his heart,
He lost all inhibition,
As the One he dances to smiles from above

For He knows,
As the old man dances and laughs.
For He knows,
The old man will join Him soon.
