It’s going to be November next week! Fall weather and Thanksgiving and family moving to SS (hopefully sooner), it’s going to be an exciting month. November also marks the biggest month for writers who want to challenge themselves. Next week kicks of NaNoWriMo. NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) is a challenge for writers where you spend the entire month of November dedicated to writing a 50,000-word novel. Here’s the official website for those interested and their History page.
NaBloPoMo (National Blog Posting Month) is a blogger’s version of NaNoWriMo. Instead of writing a 50,000-word novel, bloggers posts everyday. I love this idea more than NaNoWriMo simply because you don’t have to write consistently. (And I have a blog so there’s that.)
This site particularly seems very helpful. I like their ideas and since I don’t have a passion at the moment, it’ll allow me to explore more options while having some structure. They have workshops that people can sign up for and daily prompts. I’m also looking for other sites because I don’t want to rely on one thing in case one idea doesn’t sit well or whatever the case.
